We must stop abortion:
I felt a profound and unmistakable kinship with the foot and hand in the tray, a kinship so strong it was like the rolling of the sea under my feet[.] … I was surprised by my own sadness, by the sense of loss that I felt[.] … I found it so much easier to be moved by the sight of the disembodied hand the size of a question mark gleaming under fluorescent lights. … In that tiny, naked hand there was the imputation of innocence.

Its hard to tell the difference between ‘God connections’ and ‘religious traditions’. One brings life… the other brings death… The only way to tell the difference is to be led by God’s Spirit. Ignore the demands of men… follow the inspiration of God!
A lot of people I know struggle with the whole ‘single’ thing.
Let’s realise God isn’t calling us to the common dating scene that breaks hearts – He wants two people – set apart working as one team to achieve HIS AMAZING PURPOSES through relationships.
You are a prized possession! God has the perfect match for you! Don’t settle for less!
Trust in the Lord with ALL YOUR HEART-do not depend on your own UNDERSTANDING. Seek HIS will in ALL you do, and he will show you which path to take. (see Prov 3:5-6)
Take delight in the Lord, and HE WILL GIVE you your heart’s desires. (see Psalm 37:4)
SURRENDER your life to God, build GREAT FRIENDSHIPS with those who do the same, BELIEVE in faith for His match…and LET HIM write your love story!
God spells LOVE: G.I.V.E
What is True Love?
God spells LOVE: G.I.V.E!
Jesus said: “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13)
Let’s be inspired today to surrender our own independent lives to God – and only then can we selflessly give to those that He puts in our life!
Two people are NEVER compatible. They CHOOSE TO BECOME compatible by selflessly giving 110%.
Let’s stop trying to FIND the right match and instead BE the right match.
If two people WORK TO BE the right match, that’s selfless, giving, – and it will last a lifetime of sacred romance when God brings their soulmate across their path.
Get to know somebody before you give your emotions to them
It’s easy to have catch a CRUSH. A beautiful or charming person can get the emotions pumping for sure! But God says we need to protect our hearts above all – because it determines the path of our life. (see Proverbs 4:23)
Remember: Just because we have a crush on someone doesn’t mean we should start a relationship with them. Lets get to know people as friends and find out WHO THEY REALLY ARE as people before we GIVE OUR EMOTIONS to them.
Who is the person beyond the surface appearance?
Are they giving, thankful and selfless?
Have they FULLY sold-out for God and love Him intimately?
How do they treat undesirable people… or their own family?
Remember: How a girl treats her father and how a guy treats his mother is important – it’s often how they will treat their future mate.
How will they treat you when romance isn’t in the air or when the baby throws up?
Its easy to fool ourselves into WANTING TO BELIEVE something about a person… Before we give our emotions… let’s get to really know them!
Marriage is for life, not just a hot Friday date!
So you want to get married and be the best lover ever, right? But even if you have the HOTTEST mate, you can wreck it because of stinking thinking!
Mindsets from past relationships or from rebellion and abuse back home can creep into our relationships.
Commitment problems or gender confusion can often be linked to sour relationships with parents.
God says we need to value our parents to live blessed. (see Eph 6:2-3)
To PROVE God’s PERFECT WILL in our lives, we need to TRANSFORM our THINKING (Rom 12:2)
Lets INVITE Jesus into those walled areas of our minds and hearts – to HEAL us.
We need to forgive and make right with our parents too – regardless of whose fault it was!
Sobering, but very freeing!
Grasp the future that God has for you!
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
“Life may have not worked out as you had planned, but I am working it out for your own Good! Just stick by my side and hang onto me, my precious child. LET GO and let ME lead you. Don’t forget that dream that I PLACED in your heart. Hold onto that promise I gave you! Stir up yourself to eagerly catch it.
You may have walked through a few storms when you wandered in your own strength, but now let Me carry you into the sunshine…
Hang on… be patient and learn from me… Anticipate and eagerly expect that promise…” – God

Freedom from Emotionally Dependant and Controlling Relationships – with Stephen Ernst
We all have controlling people in our lives. I used to try control people before I started to give up my cares to God. A controlling person often has issues with pride, insecurity or fear. The ‘attributes’ of pride and insecurity may seem opposites, but they are not.
A person who has true security, identity and value in God will have true confidence, — not pride.
Because a person that is controlling has a deep insecurity or hurt, they often feel more valuable, wanted and needed when they are in control.
These controlling people may be intimidated by those who have a true Godly confidence and reach out to those around them. If they are not in charge or the center of attention, they may be mean, catty or have bad attitudes to those people that are genuinely caring for others.
These precious people don’t realise that by their controlling behaviour they are creating a living misery for the lives of those friends of whom they control. Too often controlling people may even try control the parent or courting relationships of their friends.
Regardless of how close we are to these controlling friends, — we need to see the control for what it is — and withdraw, — before it kills us and our precious relationships.
If we are that controlling person in the relationship, we need to let our friends go to experience the destiny God has for them! We don’t have a right to control another persons life — no matter how knowledgable we think we are.
We certainly don’t have the right to attack parental or courting relationships that God may have blessed.
“let no one split apart what God has joined together.” Mark 10:9 (New Living Translation)
We need to find our value in Christ by giving up our own wants. No matter how we try increase our sphere of influence, or be ‘the’ advisor to those around us, — we will never be truly fulfilled or valuable until we come to the end of ourselves. We need to let Christ become our everything!
Only then do we experience true salvation. That is the ONLY way we will find true value and confidence!
Emotional Dependent Friendships
You may say to me: “Stephen, its all very well to say I need to leave behind these bad influences in my life. But they mean a lot to me. I need friends. Its not as though I have many other friends to replace the ones I have. These friends are the only family I have.”
God doesn’t look at life the way we do. We look at a friend as something to be kept, — to give us security.
In God’s world, we don’t truly get more until we let go of our own securities and plans.
Everyone wants to be needed and often we gain our value from what our friends think about us. We also gain value by giving other people advice, — and feeling important when they follow our advice.
God on the other hand says that we need to find ALL our emotional fulfillment and value in Him — not others.
I have seen and experienced relationships where people try to gain their fulfillment from other people instead of God. These relationships are draining — and everyone of us is guilty of doing it in some form of another.
It has a lot of names — emotional dependency, co-dependency, or friendship dependency.
What is Emotional Dependency?
Lori Rentzel Thorkelson defined Emotional Dependency as “the condition resulting when the on-going presence and/or nurturing of another is believed necessary for personal security.”
We feel that we emotionally ‘need’ the other person for well being, or sometimes feel as if we need to be close to the other person because we should protect them. The truth is that no friend should be dependent emotionally on another. Every friend should find their emotional fulfillment in God.
She says we are prone to dependency because:
“In a dependent relationship, one or both people are looking to a person to meet their basic needs for love and security, rather than to Jesus. Unless underlying spiritual and emotional problems are resolved, this pattern will continue unbroken. Typical root problems that promote dependency include:
Sometimes hurts from our past leave us with low self-esteem, feelings of rejection and a deep unmet need for love. Bitterness or resentment toward those who have hurt us also open us up for wrong relationships. These sins and hurts need to be confessed and healed before real freedom can be experienced. This can happen through confession and prayer, both in our personal times with the Lord and with other members of the body of Christ.”
Dependent friendships stop two people from growing
Speaking to my brother recently, He told me a story of two women he knew. The women were very close. Being so close to each other was smothering them both from growing.
Recently one of the women moved away from that city to work in another place. The other woman who was left behind has now grown in leaps and bounds and is being used by God in amazing ways.
Sometimes we need to let go of our close friends if we have become emotionally dependent on them. It is not easy, but very necessary for their and our own growth!
If an old season of friendship stops us from entering a new season in life, that relationship may have become emotionally dependent.
Dependant relationships can break up other relationships
Recently when speaking to a close friend whose wife divorced him, he told me that before the divorce, his ex-wife was very close to another woman.
He had thought this woman’s influence in his wife’s life was detrimental and had spoken to her about it.
She refused to give up the relationship with this other woman.
My friends wife finally divorced him. To this day he thinks that the other woman was a key influence. His wife had probably built up an emotional dependence with this other woman and valued her friends input more than her husbands input.
Just this morning I was speaking to a Christian girl who had started reading the booklet: Emotional Dependency by Lori Rentzel Thorkelson.
She relayed to me that she had been very close to a girlfriend of hers. They spoke on the phone nearly every day. When her friend had got a new boyfriend and started to withdraw from her, this Christian girl found it difficult.
I am sure that if these two young ladies had carried on their emotionally dependant relationship, — the relationship with new boyfriend would have suffered and potentially even been destroyed because of it.
Our roots become entangled if we are not careful
God may have been planted us as a seedling in a small pot with others to grow initially, but there may come a time when we need to be separated and replanted in another piece of ground, — away from our former seedlings.
Sometimes in order to grow bigger, — we need to leave that pot that we were first planted in.
We too often stay too long in that seeding pot — and may let our roots become entangled with those in the same pot as us. If so, we have become emotionally dependent or co-dependent on them and we sap each others emotional energy intended for God and their soul mate — (future or current husband or wife).
Signs of an Emotional Dependant relationship
Lori Rentzel Thorkelson said that some signs that a dependant relationship has started are “when either party in a relationship:
In Lori’s article she says that manipulation plays a role in maintaining emotionally dependant relationships. Some examples she gives include:
Please note: One should be aware that it is normal to have some vulnerability and dependency with a soul mate in a courting or married relationship. It is also normal for kids to have an emotional dependance on their parents growing up.
We as adults need to however still find our emotional fulfillment in God and must avoid emotional dependent relationships with friends. These dependent relationships with friends can destroy all other meaningful relationships that God brings into our lives — especially courting and married relationships.
Breaking Emotional Dependency
Emotional dependency and soul ties develop can be almost impossible to break unless we allow God into EVERY area of our lives, and we ourselves need to act with firm resolve.
Emotional dependent relationships are often formed when two people — one that likes to be in charge and in control, and another more insecure person join forces.
Often when a person tries to leave the relationship, the other will throw a pity party, sulk, manipulate, threaten or control.
When we seperate ourselves from an emotionally dependent relationship, we cannot underestimate the soul ties that have formed. It may even feel like the other person has has died when try to separate ourselves from that person.
In the article, “Emotional Dependency”, Lori Rentzel Thorkelson suggests a variety of ways that a person can escape an emotional dependent relationship.
Making a commitment to Honesty: “We need to admit we have a problem and become accountable to change. We need to walk in the light and share the problem we have with another trustworthy Christian who is not emotionally involved in the situation.”
Introducing Changes in Activities: Gradual Separation — Lori says that “Whether the dependency has been mutual or one-sided, we usually begin to plan our lives around the other person’s activities.” A “parting of ways” is necessary. She says “we don’t recommend that a person stop attending church just because the other person will be there. But we do know that placing ourselves unnecessarily in the presence of the person we’re dependent on will only prolong the pain and delay God’s work in our lives.”
Allow God To Work. Lori says: “This sounds so obvious, but it’s not as easy as it seems! After we confess to God that we’re hopelessly attached to this individual and are powerless to do anything about it, we invite Him to come in and “change the situation”. The Lord never ignores a prayer like this. Some people begin to confront us about this relationship, but we assure them we have it all under control. Our friend decides to start going to a different Bible study, and soon we find a good reason to switch to the same one.”… “We ask God to work in our lives, but then we do everything in our power to make sure He doesn’t! I’ve learned from my own experience that thwarting God’s attempts to take someone out of my life only produces prolonged unrest and agony. Cooperation with the Holy Spirit brings the quickest possible healing from broken relationships.”
Preparing for Grief and Depression: We need to allow for a time of grief and hurting for a season so that healing will come faster. Otherwise we may carry around unnecessary guilt and bitterness.
Cultivate Other Friendships: Even if we find it scary or our hearts are not in it we need to cultivate other friendships. Our feelings catch up later. We need to embrace the other relationships that God brings across our paths. Lori says: “He knows just the relationships we need to draw out our special qualities and chip off our rough edges.” (Read my article Challenge me to greatness)
Discover God’s Vision for Relationships: God desires relationships to build other people up in Christ. Lori says: “If we desire an exclusive emotional involvement with this friend, then our desires are in conflict with what the Lord wants. We need to ask ourselves, “Am I working with God or Against Him in the person’s life?”
Resolve The Deeper Issues: Lori says “The compulsion to form dependent relationships is a symptom of deeper spiritual and emotional problems that need to be faced and resolved. Self analysis is the least effective way to uncover these problems. The most effective way is to go directly to Jesus and ask Him to show us what’s wrong. “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, Who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5) Another effective way is to go to those God has placed in positions of authority over us and submit to their counsel and prayer.”
She suggests that for some a long-term counseling relationship will help us face the sins we need to repent of and the hurts that need healing. She suggests for others a small group that meets regularly for deep sharing and prayer will help tremendously.
She suggests that personal prayer and fasting draws us to God and breaks sin bondages in a way nothing else will.
“Confession, repentance, deliverance, counseling, and inner healing are means the Lord will use to bring purity and emotional stability into our lives.”
“The healing and forgiveness we need are ours through Jesus’ atonement. We can receive them by humbling ourselves before Him and before others in His body.”
Prepare For The Long Haul — We need to prepare for the war, not just the battle. “We need to know ourselves: our vulnerabilities, the types of personalities we are likely to “fall for”, the times when we need to be especially careful. We need to know our adversary: know the specific lies Satan is likely to tempt us with and be prepared to reject those lies, even when they sound good to us! More than anything, we need to know our Lord. We need to be willing to believe God loves us.
Even if we cannot seem to feel His love, we can take a stand by faith that He does love us and begin to thank Him for this fact. As we learn of God’s character through His Word, we can relinquish our images of Him as being cruel, distant, or unloving. A love relationship with Jesus is our best safeguard against emotionally dependent relationships.”
“…The Lord is with you, MIGHTY WARRIOR” Judges 6:12
God chose a timid and scared Gideon and called Him a mighty warrior. We may feel insecure in our own strength, but that is when when rely on the calling of God on our lives. God is calling us to achieve to impossible. He takes the impossibilities of life… and makes them easy to overcome. He takes our insecurities… and makes them strengths. He takes ordinary people like you and me and tranforms them into world-changers… filled with His supernatural love. God doesn’t see us as who we are now. God sees us as what He is making us to be. You are an overcomer!
We owe everyone we come in contact with… we owe them an encounter with Love.
We owe them an encounter with Jesus… through us!
We are not just soldiers of the cross… We are heirs to the throne… His divine nature permeates our souls… transforms our minds…transforms our minds… transplants our hearts… and transfigures our spirits… We are made to be vessels of His Glory… and Vehicles of His Light.
Nós não somos apenas soldados da cruz … Somos herdeiros do trono …

RAPIDAMENTE!!
These days, God has taught me about “Where is your Trust?”.
God has been constantly talking to me about it?
You know … Many times, we look for people expecting something of them, putting our hopes on them, and forget the other things. Forget our trust in God.
And, the situations come, and people are flawed. So, those in whom we place all our trust and dreams crumble, and we collapsed together.
But, you know, God is not flawed. God does not collapse in a bad situation. God does not get upset with other people the way we were. He knows everything. He creates situations for us aright, and everything else! God loves people, regardless of what they do and / or fail to do.
Other thing, God has placed his trust in us. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS … then … Why cannot we rather put our trust in God?
I went to a camp this month of April, where God gave me and told a lot of things in my heart. And that was one of. Since then, I have put my trust, my anxieties, fears and everything else before Him. And you know what? I have not been disappointed.
In this same camp, I’ve heard about God’s sudden moves. But I’ve also learned that these moves come with a great deal of trust placed in Him.
I honestly tell you: Put your trust in Him, that things and dreams will happen. And this sudden move of God will come. AS FAST AS YOU THINK!

After we experience the goodness, power, love and blessings of God… then it is easy to get accustomed to it… and eventually it may not be special to us any more.
May we passionately appreciate the presence and power of Jesus in our lives… lets be in awe about every little thing He does for us.
Let us keep that childlike amazment at what God is doing… always taking care to appreciate the amazing things Jesus is doing in our lives… and if we do… we will experience God do even more… above what we could even think, dream, or imagine.

( veja Prov 3: 5-6 )
Descance no Senhor, e ele realizara o desejo do seu coracao. ( veja salmos 37:4 )
Deus escreve AMOR: ENTREGA
O que e o verdadeiro amor?
Deus escreve Amor: Entrega
Duas pessoas NUNCA sao compativeis.
– Deus

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
In many parts of the world, on February 14th we celebrate Valentine’s Day. People usually send cards, candy, or flowers to someone as an expression of love.
Often, if we don’t have a romantic love in our life, we are tempted to feel sorry for ourselves and become depressed.
By studying the history of Valentine’s Day, we begin to see a whole new meaning of what sacrificial love really is.
In ancient Rome, February 14th was a pagan holiday, in honor of Juno, the goddess of marriage and women.
The lives of young men and women back then were quite segregated, but on the eve of this holiday, young Roman girls would write their names on slips of paper and they were put into jars. The young men would pull a name out and the woman would be his partner for the Feast of Lupercalia on February 15. Sometimes, a relationship would develop and the couple would fall in love and marry.
Under the rule of Emperor Claudius II in Rome, there were many bloody confrontations. He was trying to get men to enlist in the military, but they were reluctant to leave their lover and family.
Claudius was so angry that he canceled all engagements and banned marriages in Rome.
He also hated Christians and imprisoned them for not worshipping the Roman gods.
Valentine was a Christian Priest and Physician at that time in Rome. He would heal the sick and never take payment for his services…not even a loaf of bread.
He would hide Christian’s and performed secret marriage ceremonies, in defiance to the ungodly laws of the Emperor.
During this time of persecution, Valentine was arrested. During the trial he was asked his thoughts about the Roman gods Jupiter and Mercury. Valentine said they were false gods, and that the God, Jesus called Father, was the only true God.
During his time in prison, Valentine witnessed and shared his faith with the guards. One guard had a blind daughter and asked if Valentine would help her. Valentine prayed for her and God restored her sight.
The guard and his entire family…46 people came to faith in Jesus and were baptized.
Valentine boldly praised God in his prison cell and continued to witness and share his faith.
This infuriated the Emperor and he ordered Valentine’s death sentence. While awaiting his execution, Valentine received notes and flowers from children he had helped.
Valentine developed a special friendship with the blind girl who was healed, and before his death, sent her a note saying he would be her Valentine forever.
Valentine was clubbed to death and beheaded on February 14, 269 A.D.
Valentine loved God’s people and the guards in prison enough share the Good News about Jesus. He denied himself and took up his cross to follow the LORD, even if it meant suffering and death.
Even today, more than 10,000 people each year are martyred for their faith. In many countries, those who convert to Christianity risk being throw in prison, torture, and death.
Greater love has no man than this, that he would lay down his life for his friends.
This Valentine’s Day, I encourage you to reach out… not only to loved ones, but
the lost and even your enemies.
Tell them about the great sacrificial gift God offers, to all who will ask his
Son Jesus to be their Saviour.
Count your blessings and spend the day being thankful
that you don’t have to spend eternity in hell.
Use this day to spread the love of Jesus to all nations.
Forgive someone who has hurt you and be released from the prison of torment and bitterness.
Visit someone in a nursing home, send a note to a soldier, prisoner, missionary, or someone who’s hurting.
Spend time reading God’s letter of love to find meaning and purpose for your life.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one
that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not
knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4:7-8
Thank you for sending Jesus to die for our sins and take the punishment we deserve. Forgive me for feeling sorry for myself, when others are being martyred for their faith each day. Bless all who are missionaries in foreign lands. Encourage and strengthen them, so they will remain faithful to you to the end. Help us to stand in the gap and stand up for Jesus, even if it means persecution or adversity. This Valentine’s Day, bring a great and mighty revival to our world. Empower us to reach every lost soul with the message of the gospel. Tear down denominational walls of prejudice and hate. If we confess you before men, you will confess us before your Father in heaven.
Guide us continually, satisfy our souls in drought, and nourish us with the living water of your word. You have anointed us to preach good tidings to the meek. Bind up the broken hearted and proclaim liberty to the captives. Release us from the prison of self- pity, bitterness, and fear. Restore sight to the blind and give us beauty for ashes. As a mother comforts her children, comfort those who are mourning and flood our souls with inner peace.
Your mercies are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. May the Spirit of unity be upon us, so that with one heart and mouth we may glorify you Father and your precious Son, Jesus our Saviour.
Father we thank you for your healing power and comfort to sustain us. Be with Pastor Gary who suffered a stroke, Sharon his wife, and his family during their time of trouble. We thank you for promising to never leave or forsake us. We ask for healing and trust you will hear and answer our prayers. Please restore Pastor to health, so he may continue his work for you.
In His blessed name we pray.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Revelation 2:10
Have a Blessed and Happy Valentine’s Day!
Your sister and servant of the LORD Jesus,
…anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17
We need to start believing what God says about us. It is time to forget that mistakes we made… or the limits we have placed on our lives. We need to focus on our identity in Christ. Its time to forget that hurt, that failure, that insecurity, that fear… and instead think thoughts of faith and hope.
God wants to increase your influence
God wants you to be a barrier breaker
God will make is face shine on us
He wants you to step out and do more with your life… more than you have ever dreamed or thought of…
but it requires you drawing a line in the sand and saying no! I choose to forget about the past and it’s limits… and I choose to live today as a new day.
My feelings will follow my decision as I choose to live in the strength of Jesus.
Those born of God are His children and heirs (Rom 8:17), all because of what Jesus did! Think about that! It’s none of our making but we get to be exalted as sons & glorified as heirs with Him! He did everything and we get to receive it freely! How awesome is that! Even hard to grasp how this can be but it’s true! Is this a shouting moment or what? Have a blessed day. – from Marcus
Ele fez tudo e começamos a recebê-la livremente!
“So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom. Luke 12:32
…the kingdom of God is about righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Rom 14:17
God wants to see His Heavenly Kingdom invade earth. Total peace and joy… but it starts with us… spending time in His Holy Spirit’s presence!
I don’t think we fully realise what this Heavenly Kingdom is. It is TRUE PEACE, TRUE JOY, TRUE JUSTICE. Nothing bad can exist in this Kingdom… This Kingdom that Jesus brought to earth.
I can remember a time in my life when I really liked a girl. She was beautiful, loved God, had an amazing personality… but there was a slight problem. This girl had become my main focus… When God was working in power… healing people, saving them, transforming them… I was nearly oblivious to His power. I had become so consumed by my passion for this girl.
This Heavenly Kingdom with ALL it’s power is available to us… Let me repeat that: This Heavenly Kingdom is available to us! We have the most powerful force in the universe available to us.
I have seen the effects of this power. It is the power to make tumors shrink, to make deaf ears hear, to heal emotions, and to transform lives.
We can have this power available… but we have not taken advantage of it fully. Whatever we are aware of will steal our focus. If we allow ourselves to become more aware of the cares of life than God’s presence… then we are blinded to this Kingdom of Heaven.
If we become aware of the presence of Jesus… His Power… His Love… His Promises from the bible… then we can easily start walking in this invisible Kingdom. It becomes a reality in our lives.
Remember… God WANTS to give us this Supernatural Kingdom!
Nao tenham medo, pequeno rebanho, pois foi do agrado do Pai dar-lhes o Reinho. Luc 12:32
Deus quer ver o Seu Reino Celestial invadir a terra.
É a verdadeira paz, a verdadeira alegria, a verdadeira justiça.
…though they had seen what I did… They are a people whose hearts go astray … and they have not known my ways… They shall never enter my rest. (See Psalm 95:9-10)
…I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Revelation 2:4
There is something about falling in love. If I fall in love with a girl, I want to spend time with that girl… romance her… walk with her in the sunset… talk for hours together, deep into the night… buy her a bunch of tulips… share an ice-cream with her on a hot day… dream about life together… I spend time with her to get to know her and her ways…. because I love her presence…
If I spent time with her just because of what she could do for me… or if I did these things to gain her affection… it would be a shallow relationship.
Friends, in the same way we can get involved in the works of God… we can even be used by Him to do miracles… but we can so easily lose that love… knowing Him intimately… as a person… to love His presence, having knowledge of His ways…
Lets get back to that first love… to fall in love with Him… and know His ways… not just be satisfied doing His works!
Eles nunca entrarão no meu descanso. (Veja o Salmo 95:9-10)
God is a good God and he wants to use ORDINARY YOU to touch other peoples lives with his healing power!
I recently returned from a Global Awakenings trip to Brazil led by Randy Clark and Rex Burgher. During our time in Sao Paulo, there were nearly 1000 physical healing’s counted (of 80% – 100% improvement). Many experienced the healing power of God – spiritually, physically, and emotionally. God revealed His fathers heart as young children and grown men were weeping when God’s power touched them.
The impression that God placed on my heart is: “This needs to be mass-produced. There are soooo many people that need to be reached with the life changing GOOD NEWS of Jesus, it is going to require every Christian to start walking out in the POWER God has for them, and touching lives.”
There will always be those people that God calls to focus on a special ministry of healing (see 1 Corinthians 12:9), but God intended EVERY Christian to walk in the supernatural, – healing the sick, regularly.
This is what Jesus intended when He commissioned His disciples. No longer will just a few special people work in His power. God wants EVERY Christian to do greater things than what Jesus did on earth. (John 14:12)
Seeing the passion of the children and young people in Brazil, God broke my heart for them as they worshiped God with fiery zeal. These precious Brazilians wanted to start walking in the power that they were seeing – and some of them did! I believe that God will use these passionate young people to transform their country… and the world.
One Sunday I was in a church in Sao Paulo Brazil where God healed many people. One man that I started praying for had pain in his shoulder. I invited the Holy Spirit to come and soaked his shoulder in the power of the Holy Spirit. When I asked him how much he had improved, he said a little – 20%. I asked a friend to come help pray for him and help me translate into Portuguese. We continued praying for him as I soaked his arm in the power of the Holy Spirit, moving his arm around. Soon the pain had left from his shoulder.
This is just one small healing out of the many we have seen in Brazil, but it changed the lives of those that were involved – forever!
During recent days, many of my new Brazilian friends have told me that they want to walk in God’s power more. I have great news for these friends and also for those of you reading this. You may have only heard about the power of God, but never seen it yourself.
What we have is very special… but it is not just reserved for an international ministry team… it is meant to be used by every Christian who knows Jesus intimately!
Whether you are in South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, or even on the moon – let me assure you – if you are a child of God, – He wants to use you to change the world!
Let me tell you a little secret: God does not use special talented people. He uses ordinary people like you and me to touch the world with his healing power.
None of us are special in ourselves. The only special thing we have within us is the power of the Holy Spirit of Jesus inside of us.
Reinhard Bonke says: “Jesus does not choose us because of what we are, but because of what he makes from us.”
Reinhard Bonke talks about how Jesus chose his disciples:
“I think I would have gone to the university…. I would have said to the professors, – give me a list of the finest young men, the sharpest brains, movers of people, great orators…. Jesus didn’t come close to a university. He chose ordinary people…. God doesn’t need Superman and He doesn’t need Superwoman.”
“..I discovered that Jesus is the number ONE and when I as the ZERO stood next to Him we were already 10. – Any other ZERO here? – come and stand next to me and we are already 100. Any more zeros? 1000, 10000, 100000, 1000000, 10000000. And then I realised Jesus puts value into every zero. I don’t even mind to be the last zero, because the last zero is the most valuable. 100000000 is more than 100 as long as the one is in front – Jesus, – we are all highly valuable, but take the one away, and we are all but zeros again.”
“This is how God calls, how God chooses. It’s a secret that needs to be understood. It doesn’t matter who you are what you are. Jesus makes you valuable, highly valuable. He calls you, He equips you and He sends you and He will be with you all the way right to the end of time and to the end of the earth….”
Too often we assume that we need to ‘become somebody special’ for God to use us.
Nothing could be further from the truth!
For God to use us, we need to become nobodies – and let His power FILL US, – and let His power flow THROUGH US to others. The more of an ego we have, the more thoughts we have to ‘reason’ in our heads – the more blockages we have to stop God using us! God uses people who have a simple trust in Him – like children!
I love what Bill Johnson says: “There is no lack on God’s end of the equation. He made it possible for His Kingdom to come in fullness!”
“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need…” – 2 Peter 1:3
The only thing that can stop you is to THINK you don’t have everything that ALREADY Jesus died for… Somebody once said: “if you believe that lie, – you empower the lier!”
Remember: You have everything you need if you have given your life to Jesus and the Holy Spirit lives in you!
An encouragement to my new friends from Brazil who recently told me they are wanting more of God and His Power… and everyone else reading this….
If God can do miracles through me – He certainly CAN and WILL heal people through you if you just come to the end of yourself and let His power fill and flow through you!
So come to the end of yourself… Get to know God through His precious Holy Spirit…. Step out in the confidence and pray for people… Let the power of God flow through you…. nothing of your own strength, but only the strength of God that empowers you…
It has been said: “Walking in God’s power is not created by following a formula. It is born of an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us to change the world.”
Practise, practise, practise…
Just ignore the doubt and trust Jesus!!
Soon you will be running strong in His Spirit!
Let us strip off every weight that slows us down… let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (See Hebrews 12:1,2)
Get your fire back and renew that vision that God has placed on your heart. God wants you to be a barrier breaker. He uses people that believe they can achieve the impossible… through the strength of Jesus… and the power of the Holy Spirit. Don’t let any person or any event short-circuit that vision. You can do ALL things through the anointing of Jesus!
Today is the day to Smile!
Because my Jesus can heal every disease. My Jesus can heal every heart break. My Jesus can change any emotion. My Jesus can heal every relationship. My Jesus is able to provide more than I need. My Jesus can forgive every sin. My Jesus gives me a future and a hope. Even when everything I see seems otherwise. My Jesus is able…
Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. John 16:24
I have surrendered my life to Jesus and He holds it in His hands!
… That is why… Today I can smile!
Pedi e recebereis, e vossa alegria será completa. João 16:24
Eu entreguei minha vida a Jesus e Ele a segura em Suas mãos!
… É por isso que … Hoje eu posso sorrir!
“What do you want to do?”
“I don’t know, what do you want to do?”
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had that conversation with a woman over the years after she got into my car. I’ve always had this fear of being like one of the guys from her past–the type of guy who just charges ahead without taking her wants and desires into account.
But it’s deeper than that. I didn’t want to be another guy on her jerk list, so I became ultra-nice guy.
Ultra-nice guy doesn’t want to take a woman to a place she might not enjoy. He is also usually so focused on being nice that he isn’t good at actually picking up on what she might enjoy. And so the cycle goes.
I have never lived the rest of my life this way. I invite friends to go to baseball games, movies, concerts, and sometimes, even fishing. And I often go with them to places and events they prefer. By doing so, we see each other in our natural elements and we learn even more about each other.
Ultra-nice guy doesn’t make an appearance around friends. I’ve come to the conclusion that he shouldn’t make an appearance while on a date either. He’s too generic, too phony, and too self-absorbed. All of those facts became a shade clearer to me in the past few days as I’ve read the novel The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks.
In the novel, a 17-year-old girl named Ronnie is visiting her father in North Carolina for the summer. Her parents are divorced and she’s trying to make the best of a bad situation. While visiting her dad, she falls for a guy named Will. Here is her thought process regarding him:
“Too many guys simply rolled over these days, thinking that being nice was all that mattered. And it did matter, but not if the guy equated being nice with being a doormat. She liked the fact that he’d taken her fishing, even though she hadn’t been enthusiastic about it. It was his way of telling her, This is who I am, and this is what I enjoy, and of all the people I know right now, I want to enjoy this experience with you. Too often, when a guy asked her out, he picked her up without the slightest idea of what to do or where to go, eventually forcing her to come up with the plan. There was something so wishy-washy and clueless about that. Will was anything but wishy-washy, and she couldn’t help liking him for that.”
Of course, this passage is written by a man through the eyes of a female character, but it still has a ring of truth to it, especially in light of Scripture, which calls a man to lead. By doing so, he gives her a chance to see who he really is and it gives her an idea about how might lead her if they decide to enter a relationship.
In turn, he learns what she does and doesn’t enjoy. As he learns more about her preferences, they engage in activities she enjoys and he discovers more about her.
Ideally, they would already believe they are a good match before getting too invested emotionally, but that isn’t always possible.
The point is, there’s really no place for ultra nice guy in this equation. He serves no purpose. So it’s time to say good-bye to ultra nice guy.

I choose to be aware of God’s goodness today!
John was in prison… and sent His disciples to Jesus to ask: “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”… So he replied to the messengers, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Luke 7:20, 22
If you are in a prison… distracted, fearful, aprehensive… Jesus would say to you: “Get focused on what I AM doing… instead of the bad circumstances you may FEEL that you are in.”
When we focus on God’s goodness and promises in our lives, our outlook changes… our faith rises… and hope gets birthed. Keep your eyes focused on His goodness. Keep your mouth speaking His Promises.
Let’s choose to be aware of His loving and powerful presence!
Logo a dor havia deixado o ombro dele.
Pratique, pratique, pratique…
Somente ignore as dúvidas e confie em Jesus!!
Breve, você estará fortalecido no Epírito Dele!

Sing My Love / Canta meu amor (com legendas):
Sing My Love (English):
Words could never say, the way.
He says my name
He calls me lovely
No one ever sees, the way.
He looks at me
He sees me, holy.
Words could never hold, this love that burns my soul
Heaven holds me.
Heaven holds me
I can’t hold my love back from you
I can’t hold my love back from you
I’ve gotta sing, I’ve gotta sing, sing my love.
You would not believe, the way.
He touches me
He burns right through me
And I could not forget, every Word He Said.
He always knew me
The earth could never hold, this love that burns my soul.
Heaven holds me
Heaven holds me
Oh praise the Lord, praise the Lord.
My soul makes, makes its boast, in the Lord.
BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. (ANS) — Shelley Lubben is fighting against a multi-billion-dollar industry filled with lies and deceit, rampant with drugs and alcohol.
A former porn actress and prostitute, Lubben hopes her message will help wake the world up to what’s going on in the porn industry.
After eight years of hard recovery from the trauma of the sex industry, Lubben is on a mission to smash the illusion of porn and help people break the chains of sexual addiction.
She wants to tell America what the mission of the multi billion dollar porn industry really is. Writing on her web site she said it is to, “completely destroy you and your family through its ability to deceive you and lure you to buy into the lie.”
Lubben said on her web site, “Some of porn’s lies: Porn doesn’t hurt anyone. But the statistics are clear. According to comScore Media Metrix, 71.9 million people visited adult sites in August 2005, reaching 42.7 percent of the Internet audience. At $12 billion a year, the revenues of the porn industry in the U.S. are bigger than the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball combined. Worldwide porn sales are reported to be 57 billion. To put this in perspective, Microsoft sells the operating system used on most of the computers in the world (in addition to other software) and reported sales of $36.8 billion in 2004.”
Pornography, Lubben said, is not only highly addictive but also promotes lies about women.
“Porn,” Lubben added, “exploits and devalues women. Porn converts women into objects rather then people with feelings and opinions of their own. Even soft-core pornography portrays women as sex objects who exist only to give sexual satisfaction to men. They are ‘pets’ or ‘playmates’ valued only from the neck down. Many porn addicts now admit they find it hard not to view women as chunks of meat because of viewing pornography.”
“Another lie the porn industry wants you to believe,” Lubben said, “is that we porn actresses love sex. They want you to think we enjoy being degraded by all kinds of repulsive acts. The truth, porn actresses have showed up on the set not knowing about certain requirements and were told by porn producers to do it or leave without being paid. Work or never work again.”
She added, “It’s also safe to say most women who turn to porn acting as a money-making enterprise, probably didn’t grow up in healthy childhoods either.”
Lubben said that some actresses admit they’ve experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, verbal abuse and neglect by parents.
“Some were raped by relatives and molested by neighbors,” she said. “Ask a porn star what her background was like and she’ll avoid that subject like the plague. Porn stars don’t want fans to know they actually have broken hearts. That would KILL the fantasy, now wouldn’t it?
“Porn is virtually everywhere on earth. It affects everyone. No matter where you go, it’ll be in your path. It will reach you through its TV networks, pay-per-view movies on cable and satellite, Internet Web sites, in-room hotel movies, phone sex, peep shows, and magazines.”

…”No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” 1 Cor 2:9
If we have surrendered our lives to Jesus… When life throws us unexpected results… we can be in peace. The plans we have for ourselves are inferior… when compared to the plans that God has for us.
It is natural to feel sad or depressed when things don’t work out the way we hope. But God wants us to react differently.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…And be thankful. Colossians 3:15
When things don’t work out… we should actually be happy and peaceful… God has something better ahead! Now is not the time to be sad… now is the time to dream big and speak God’s promises into our lives!

You are the light of the world... let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14,16
We serve a God… His character is love… and as we experience the love of Jesus… it will be natural to spread that love around… We are not placed on earth to argue about religious points… Instead we are here to be a lighthouse. We are connected to the power-source – Jesus! Lets love people… and as we do, share with them the miracles that we have seen Jesus do in our lives!
Today I went for a quick walk. I met a fireman with a beautiful dog. As I showed interest in his dog, we started to speak about people who survive car crashes… and how some are very miraculous. I was then able to share with him about the miracles that God does as take the action to pray for people. He mentioned that he had a friend who was a Christian.
I believe God set up that divine appointment. Let us share with everyone this Love of a powerful God… whose name is Jesus.
We have the light… let’s emerse ourselves in Jesus… and shine the light around!
