A cry for peace

Tears are flowing from my eyes.
The pain I feel…I cannot hide.
My heart is breaking from within.
Oh Lord, please save us from our sins.

The world has chosen it’s own way.
To live a life of moral decay.
Corrupted by its lusts and greed.
In worldly passions, it continually feeds.

Crime and violence will prevail…
In rejecting God’s rules…we will fail.
Health and restoration can only come…
By trusting in God’s only Son.

So let us now join hands and voice.
To sing His praise and make a choice.
Obedience to His will, can show.
In God we trust…to make us whole.

Let freedom reign within our land.
United in God’s strength, we’ll stand.
The power of Jesus will bring relief.
To restore our country to a nation of peace.
