I thank You‚ dear Lord‚ for another day.
At this time‚ Lord‚ I come humbly to pray.
Reveal to me any vices or sin
That may keep me from knowing You fully within.
I offer my questions‚ my fears and my pain‚
Lord‚ please come heal me; restore me again.
Guide all my thoughts‚ my words and my deeds.
Please make me sensitive to other people’s needs.
Grant me the ability to show Your true love‚
That I may point people to the One up above.
Use me‚ take me‚ please come before me‚
Move me‚ guide me‚ please come restore me.
Continue to make me Your willing servant‚
That my praises and prayers may be joyous and fervent.
Make me aware of the joy of your salvation‚
And may it come forth on this campus and nation.
Make Your name known so that all here will know‚
That You‚ Lord‚ do reign from above and below.
And when the night falls‚ and it comes time to pray‚
May this be my prayer at the end of the day:
"Grant me Your peace and eternal rest‚
Reminding me daily that I am truly blessed."
