“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise His word, In God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.”
Psalm 56: 3, 4
King James Version
This morning when I called my puppy’s name, he did not respond. I couldn’t feel him breathing and he didn’t move. I had a moment of fear and cried out to God for help. I called Prince’s name two more times. He finally lifted his head, opened his eyes and looked up at me as if to say “Why did you wake me up?” He put his head down and went back to sleep. I cried tears of relief, joy and happiness.
What an assurance it is to know that in times of fear we can cry out to God for help. I have been in situations before I was a Christian when I had no one to cry out to for help. Thirty years ago when I was raped there was no one I could turn to for help. When I was beaten those times, there was no one to help me.
I am so glad that I can cry out to God now and He immediately comes to my rescue as He protects me and helps me. I honestly don’t know how people make it through this life without God. Thank You, my precious Heavenly Father, for being a Father of protection and comfort. I appreciate You so much and I love You very much.
When you are in a situation and are afraid, cry out to God for protection. He will come to your rescue immediately. Are you trusting God to help you? You don’t have to go through this life alone. Allow our Heavenly Father to rescue you, comfort you and encourage you. Give Him praise, for He is worthy to be praised.
