All things are possible for those who believe!

Like many of you, our family has been facing some financial challenges in the last few years.
Our son worked in the auto industry for a few years, and after his layoff, God found him a job
installing eaves troughs and siding.
The only problem was that each year, he would get laid off in November, and usually not get called
back until around April. This left him strapped for cash, and very frustrated.
Last November, one day our son was working on a roof, and lost his footing. He grabbed on to the ladder,
but almost fell from a 3 story building.
He’d never bothered by heights, but this really upset and frightened him.
That day, he walked into the office of his boss and offered his 2 week notice to quit.
When he told us, we were a little concerned, but began to pray and knew God had a plan
and it would work out for good.
Shortly after this, a friend of his offered him a job with his repossession company.
A couple of months later, my son heard that the company he’d been working for before he
resigned, was closing up and going out of business.
God knew before hand and divinely warned our son, so he would quit and reposition himself ahead of time.
He’s been working at the new job for the last few months and is doing very well.
Because his job is strictly on commission, he only gets paid, when he repossesses a vehicle.
Money at times is a little tight, but when we pray…God likes to show up and show off.
A few weeks ago, his bosses parents mentioned to our son that they’ve had a house for sale
for almost a year, with no offers on it.
They asked him if he’d like to live in the house as a caretaker, and he only has to pay for the utilities.
It’s a nice little cabin on 4 acres of land, which is a wonderful improvement from the rented room he’s
lived in for the last few years.
He’d mentioned to them, he’d love to buy the house, but cannot afford it right now.
They told him that if he’d like to buy the house, whenever he has a little extra money, he could
pay them what he can, and all the money will be applied as a down payment toward the purchase
of the house.
Our son is having a wonderful time painting and fixing up his dream cabin and we can see the hand
of God working miraculously for our boy.
The most important thing we can do for our children, friends, and family is to pray for them and encourage them.
King David wrote…
Psalm 5:3
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
As we offer our prayers to God, it takes the heavy weight of worry off our shoulders and places it in his loving hands
of provision and healing.
My brother was laid off this winter, but God has also heard our prayers on his behalf and 2 months ago he was
called back to work.
Beloved, today you may be facing hardship or adversity.
The Bible says…
Psalm 102:17
He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
God sent me to tell you that he hears and will answer your prayers at just the right moment.
Jesus said…
Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Don’t give up…look up and believe in the miracle working power of your loving heavenly Father.
Cast your cares upon him, for he cares for you.
Father we are in awe of your miracle working power. Thank you for providing a good job for our son
and brother. You have opened the windows of heaven and provided our boy with a wonderful opportunity
for affordable housing. We thank and praise you.
Father we ask for favor upon all who are suffering from financial set backs, poverty, job loss, or health concerns.
Your word says, you have never let the righteous be forsaken, or his seed begging bread. When one door closes,
you open a window and send help in times of trouble. Provide for your children in your powerful ways, so all will
know that you alone have done it.
Be with our President and all leaders of the world. Show them and us how to spend, save, invest, and give wisely.
Help us to be good stewards of all you have entrusted to our care.
Bring all who are lost to faith in Jesus.
We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. If he is for us, no one can stand against us.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Your sister and servant of the LORD Jesus,
Valerie Rousseau
