Anything is Worth Giving Up for God…by Hannah Maria Withrow

Posted by

A veil of darkness upon me loomed‚
As I looked upon the moon‚
The memory of what happened here‚
Forced down my cheek a single tear‚
One of God’s angels told me my destiny‚
So many things I dreamed of doing‚
I know now I’ll never do‚
I dreamed of singing my heart out to the world‚
I dreamed of drawing and designing things no one
has before‚
I even dreamed of changing the world‚
But the gifts of a messenger come at a price‚
So now I dream of something new‚
I dream of sending God’s messages to the world
through my poems‚
And even His warnings too‚
I dream of sharing each vision and premonition
that God allows me to see‚
With everyone who will listen‚
In the end‚
Everything I give up will be worth it‚
Another tear falls down my cheek‚
A tear full of joy‚
A tear cried only because…
I know I’m going to glorify God.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest
forth out of the womb I sanctified thee‚ and ordained thee a
prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5
