Be of good courage

Be Of A Good Courage
Psalm 31:24
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
If you’re hoping in anyone and anything but the Lord, you’re setting yourself up for a disappointment, because people mean well, but only God is worthy of our hope. He never sets us up to let us down. He’s not a man that He should lie, nor does he change his mind about things. The Bible is clear that God never fails.
He created us in His own image, and formed us in our mother’s wombs. He knows the plans He has for you and me, but we do have a will of our own. If we seek Him, we’ll find Him, and will become knowledgeable of His plans for us. But if we’re stubborn, set in our ways, and full of pride, we’ll shipwreck our lives.
But here’s the good news, my friend: be of a good courage, and don’t faint. Whatever you’re into right now that’s a mess – a disaster – a setback – look up toward Heaven and call on Jesus. Your strength isn’t coming from him, her or them – it’s coming from Christ Jesus. He suffered and died and is now living in Heaven, praying for you to come to Him.
Learn about Him in the Holy Bible and believe that His love can cleanse and purge your soul from the sin of fear and doubt. The Bible comforts all who believe that the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him and hope in his mercy.
So let’s meditate on King David’s inspired words which say: “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. Amen. (Psalm 42:5)
I love you but Jesus loves you more
Prayerfully yours,
Lil

Dear Valeria
I find my self reading your devotions over and over. Praise the Lord for your work. My pastor brought up the “Delve in the word on 2012″ devotion, so I fighting the fight to dedicate myself to Jesus. Reading the Bible, studying the word. I been worried about my 11 year old son closeness to Good, today he told me for the first time he felt Jesus standing next to him, he told me this out of nowhere. I’m overwhelmed by God’s love and response. Im fighting the fight so that my whole family can walk in faith. I was very strong in studying the bible and life, kids, work took me away, I was unhappy and I knew what I was missing. My hubby prayed for a church and God gave us one, we’ve been attending for about 7 months now and Im so happy. Better is one day in your courts, than thousand elsewhere.
Thanks for your work in the Lord, it is appreciated.
