Bind Me Lord

Bind me Lord, bind me, bind me to you.

Bind me with your comfort Lord,

with joy that is only found in you.

Bind me with your peace Lord

and a love that is so true.

Bind me with your grace Lord

in all humility.

Bind me with your sweet, tender compassion.

In you my foundation Lord,

I have been set free.

Bind me with a holy fear

in reverence and awe of you.

Guard and protect my heart,

soul and mind Lord,

in all  that I say and do.

Bind me to your image Lord,

casting out the man of old.

Fill me with your presence Lord,

please melt this heart that is so cold.

Bind me to your will oh Lord,

with a chain that cannot be broken.

Bind me with your wisdom Lord,

and the knowledge of your ways

Be my peace, joy, my love, my King,

in each and every day.
