Capture my heart again…..
For once more I’ve gone astray
And a change must take place within
Oh Lord‚ what can I say?
I don’t know how it happened‚
I just know I feel so lost.
You’ve tried to teach it to me‚
tried to pound it in my head‚
but I just can’t seem to focus‚
my heart‚ it feels so dead.

I put on a masquerade
So everyone will think I’m fine‚
But that doesnt really matter now
’Cuz it all feels like a lie.

Why do I keep on trying?
Since I know I’ll mess up again.
Oh God‚ why don’t you talk to me?
I’m tired of playing pretend!
Of letting everyone think I have it all together
Just to let you down again.

I want to do whats right‚
but sometimes it seems I can’t.
So Lord‚ give me the will to fight‚
and in my heart I ask that courage you will plant.
Fill me with your love and let all that see me know
That YOU are the one who’s captured my heart‚
And that’s what I long to show.

Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee‚ and not cast thee away.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strenthen thee; yea‚ I will help thee; yea‚ I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:19-10
