There are troubles all around ,
but we can look forward to our heavenly home.
No problems are there, it will last for eternity
and we will never be alone.

Dear friends, if you are caught up in the world’s ways
you will never find peace in your life.
Your days will be full of aggravations
and never ending strife.

But as the scripture says; those things won’t last long
even though our days seem to drag along.
For they will soon be over, and the joys of Heaven
will be ours no problems, no wrong.

Dear friends, Happpy New Year to
each and every one of you out there.
I want you to know that by the Lord’s love
inside me, I truly do care.

But there are still people who do not care
about others, let us pray they can do better than that.
All they need this new year is to find
the Lord’s love where ever they are at.

As far as the Lord goes – He is so easy to find;
He is here all the time, He is everywhere.
But still there are some people who do
not believe in God, they don’t know His love and care.

The faithful shall continue loving everyone
and to only God do they trust and pray.
Dear friends, you can start the 2012 year
in the very same way.

The Sinful Woman

A young woman wanders to the Pharisee’s house,
A woman who has met rejection,
Ostracism,
And ridicule.
A woman who has been thrown to the side by society.
A woman who is searching for love.
But she wanders with hope
For she has heard of a man named Jesus:
A man who was turning the world upside-down,
A man who forgave the unforgivable,
A man who showed mercy to those who didn’t deserve mercy,
A man who showed unconditional love.
All she has to offer him is an alabaster jar,
And while she feels that it may not be enough,
She looks for Jesus anyway.
She finds out where he is,
And the woman rushes over to the house where he is,
The house of the Pharisees.
She bursts in, despite the cries of the Pharisee,
And rushes to Jesus,
Hoping that she’ll find the compassion that she’s been searching for.
Their eyes meet,
And she recognizes it.
She sees it.
She finds it:
Unconditional love in his eyes.
Her soul stirs with emotion,
And overcome, she crashes onto her knees.
Unrestrained tears fall onto his feet.
Bewildered by the love shown to her,
She kisses his feet,
Wipes his feet with her hair,
And anoints them with perfume from her jar.
The Pharisee screams at Jesus,
Wondering why Jesus is allowing this sinful woman to touch her.
But Jesus looks on,
Loving her.
And he says the words that she has longed to hear:
Her many sins have been forgiven
For she has loved much.
And from then,
The sinful woman is forever transformed by his love.
Oh, how many people in the world want to experience this merciful,
compassionate, unconditional love,
And how much more does Jesus want to show this love to us all?

for it doesn’t matter what your status is.
There is a new a dawn coming that only
our Lord has the power to give.

Sing out His goodness and praise Him!
Give thanks to God for another year.
Friends, let us do all we can to bring joy
to others and be of good cheer.

Visit the shut-ins when you can,
start the new year getting things done right.
O blessed Lord, thank You for the New Year,
for the sunrise each morning bringing light.

He’s Waiting for You…

All across the sky,
The stars shine bright
But there was one a little brighter
On this particular night.

The night our Messiah,
The Son of God was born;
The reason we celebrate
Each Christmas morn.

Born to a virgin girl,
Mary was her name.
Her life had changed forever
The night the angel came.

She was chosen by God,
And in His eyes she found favor.
For this reason she was blessed
And would give birth to our Savior.

We decorate our houses
With trees and colored lights
But decorations will never compare
To that spectacular sight.

When He was born
The angels sang,
And when they heard,
The shepherds came.

The kings brought gifts
Of gold, incense, and myrrh
But these hold no comparison
To the gift giv’n through Christ’s birth.

Born to die
Was Jesus’ purpose;
Sent by God
To make a way for us.

The greatest gift
One could ever receive
But to earn this gift,
One must believe.

God sent His Son
That we might live
No greater gift
Could anyone give.

He’s waiting for you,
Wanting you to accept.
Not taking this gift
Will be your only regret.

Many of us would like to have the feeling
of Christmas all year.
So do I – not the presents but
having Jesus so near.

What wonderful days we would have
if we lived each day like it was Christmas time.
There would be love shared,
we’d have peace of heart and mind.

Let’s try keeping the real meaning of Christmas
in our hearts as long as we can.
Life would be so much better
it would be a great new plan.

No one can speak about God without true
conviction in Him – the Holy Spirit’s words they use.
Words are given to men to be able to preach
effectively sharing the Good News.

If you hear someone speaking their own doctrine
do not believe what they say.
You can test what they say against
what is written in the Bible any day.

In the 21st century there are many paths
promising inner peace and love.
But the peace we seek comes only
with Jesus from God above.
