To be happy‚
and not to be sad.
To be at peace‚
and always be glad.

To breathe gentle and kind‚
and never waste a breath.
To live forever‚
and not worry about death.

To open your heart‚
and give it to the Lord.
To sing and be cheerful‚
in one acord.

To live‚
and let live.
To thank‚
and forgive.

To have‚
and to need.
To cut‚
and to bleed.

To take life in your hands‚
and crush God’s plans.

To forever sin‚
and live with greed.
Or walk with God‚
and always be free.

To hate‚
and be hated.
To be confused‚
and frustrated.

To love‚
and be loved.
To be blessed‚
from above.

To live with anger‚
to suffer with pain.
To slit your wrist‚
and watch the blood drain.

To be a sinner with satan‚
or a Christian with Christ.
To choose love over hatred‚
which would be nice.

These are just some wordly things‚
that might hold you down like heavy chains.

Only we make the decision‚
just you and me.

God or satan‚
which will it be.
