She wanders
In and out of dreams
Reality?
She shakes her head
Not sure of anything anymore
Wishing
Longing to find truth
Hoping for something more
A life beyond her own
She looks at this world
Wondering why
Reality?
She knows
The joy is real
So is the pain
But is there more?
In the back of her mind
The center of her heart
An underlying depth
Whispers faith
Hope
Love
Reality?
It is a simple fact to her
Her brain screams it
As she scans the scene
Beyond the ugliness of choices
Consequences
Sin
Humanity
More is necessary
This is why
She dreams.
