With a heart that’s pure
Confident and sure
And a mind focused on good things
I will live for You God

Intentions‚ motives and extent of my heart
I desire to please You with every part
What I say and what I do
Let it be like You

And my thoughts‚ every single one
Let them be praiseworthy‚ good and pure
And if are not of You
Convict me and show me what to do

Take my desires
And let me burn for You
Make me want what You do
Inspire me and give me strength to do something new

Take my heart although it’s been broken
And give me hope with the words You have spoken
Help me guard what I allow in my life
To really consider what I do‚ see and hear

In the areas in which I am weak
Give me strength and speak
Your words of power and love
Help me when I need You up above

Help me be bold and be different from this world
I do not belong here
God take away all my fears
And wipe away all my tears

Create in me a heart so pure
To You‚ pleasing and innocent
I long to do what’s right
No matter what the fight.
