Embrace Me
Embrace me, oh Lord and take away my sorrow.
Embrace me, oh Lord and take away my pain.
Embrace me, oh Lord for oh how I hunger,
to be with you in love, come that day.
Fill me oh Lord, with your spirit
and show me your way and let me be your man.
You love me oh Lord, and have shown me your wisdom,
my heart is glad to be with you once again.
Let me not forget that you are ever near me,
and have made me yours to love forevermore.
My heart grows warm to think that you are with me,
and that you are mine as I am yours.
Father I love you, for you are pure and holy,
you give strength when I am weak.
I pray that I will always lean upon you
and that my heart will never go astray.
How may I serve my Lord and Savior?
How may I give glory to your Holy name?
For you my dear Lord, are all that matters,
I live for you, please take away my shame.
I embrace you,
oh Lord, and I thank you,
that you are mine, and that I am yours.
There is no other way but yours Lord
and how I pray to be with you in love, come that day.
