God Knows My Cry
Isaiah 49:15
Can a woman forget her sucking child,
that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
God knows when you are crying, just as a mother knows the cry of her baby. The mother knows when the cry is that of hunger and feeds the baby.
God knows when you’re desperately hungry and thirsty and nothing seems to satisfy you. When you cry, God hears and comes to our rescue. We all break down at times. There’s a time for weeping and a time for laughing. God knows just how much we can bear. Whether we’re stouthearted and brave or fearful and frail, things happen and we’re touched.
Your heavenly Father feels your hurt and your sorrow and He sends a Word to comfort you today. The risen Christ is touched with the feeling of your pain, your rejection or your confusion. He understands and He’s right there with you speaking a Word of loving faith and peace.
Maybe a loved one has gone on but Jesus is that Friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Reach out to Him. Whisper scriptures to Him, even if seems like you have no strength to say anything. Forgive those who seemingly have forgotten your situation and are nowhere to be found. Jesus is within you, waiting on you to turn wholly to Him.
People might be too caught up in their own tests and trials to “check in” on you, but Jesus says: “I’m right here….Did I not say that I would never leave you nor forsake you?”
There’s nothing too mundane or insignificant to share with the Lamb of God Who loves you unconditionally.
He’s drawing you even now, my friend, because He loves you more than anyone else in this world. Turn to Jesus and receive His loving kindness.
