~ In God Is My Victory ~

I value that which God gives me
I envy not which is not mine
Each mans worth
Is determined over time 

When I kneel before my Father
I want to see His smile
I want to hear the words
“Well done my child” 

Someone else’s ticket
Won’t buy me a seat
I can’t beg, borrow, or steal
The right to sit at His feet 

I’m covered by the lamb
His blood He shed for me
To live a lie would be futile
The darkness He would see 

I strive to be like Jesus
He never walked in the path of man
He strived to please His Father
I humbly pray that I too can 

Yes…I value that which God gives me

My destination is Glory
My deeds will go before the King
All of heaven will rejoice
I will join the angels when they sing 

Hallelujah to The Father
Praises to the Lamb
A grateful child of God
Is who I am 

I’m not perfect
