In the quiet of the morning,
before the daylight breaks.
I’ve learned to talk to Jesus,
and that’s all it seems to take…
To renew my sense of sanity,
in a world that makes no sense.
Jesus hears and understands,
and comes to my defense.
I’ve learned to love the silence,
of my empty home on earth.
In quiet times…God speaks to me,
and makes my life have worth.
If your heart is ever lonely,
or you ever have a fear.
Remember that in quiet prayer,
the Savior’s always near.
He’ll take you in his loving arms…
Hold you close and say…
I’ve waited for this quiet time,
to talk to you today.

Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them
unto their desired haven. Psm. 107:30 KJV
