Sexual revolution

The world is becoming increasingly evil and tries to lure people into the
traps of bondage to various sins.

In our fallen culture sex sells, and even many leaders in government and churches
are leading others to follow the broad path that leads to destruction.

The Bible warns us to watch and pray, because satan is roaming around as a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour.

He wants to discredit the church and make people look like hypocrites to the world.

Many false prophets and churches are trying to confuse God’s children,
by telling them it is all right to practice homosexuality or fornication.

Jesus told us to love one another, but as brothers and sisters in Christ.

God loves us and left his word to show us the truth, when our path is unclear.

Jesus said, if you continue in my word, you will know the truth and the truth will
set you free.

Studying God’s word, opens our eyes and brings light to our world,
when life seems dark and uncertain.

For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
For this is the will of God,even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
That ever one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the
Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-7

In Paul’s letter in Thessalonians, we see the commandments they spoke
of, were given by the Lord Jesus. The will of God is that we abstain from
fornication.

Fornication is unlawful sexual intercourse between 2 unmarried people.
This would also include homosexuality.

God asked Paul to warn us through his teachings that he has called us
to be holy.

In Revelation 3, Jesus gave John stern warnings for the
church in Thyatira…

These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire,
and his feet are like fine brass: I know thy works, and charity, and service,
and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that
woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce
my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Revelation 2:19-21

John first commends the church in Thyatira for their good works, charity,
and service to the LORD… but he also warns them, Jesus is not pleased
with them teaching the people it was all right to commit fornication and
eating things sacrificed to idols.

They were given time to repent, but they refused.

The Bible warns…

Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her
into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her
children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which
searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you
according to your works. Revelation 2:22-23

We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. If we say we
have not sinned the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.

We first must acknowledge that fornication and homosexuality is
sin and not pleasing to God.

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have
committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall
be upon them. Leviticus 10:13

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Leviticus 18:22

Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take
the members of Christ, and make them the members of a harlot?
God forbid.

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body;
but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,
which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bough with a price:
therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
1 Corinthians 6:15,18-20

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

He lives inside you and will help you fight the temptations and lustful thoughts which Satan
sends to lead you into sin.

Satan wants to kill you with diseases like AIDS. He wants to tempt you to kill your children
by abortion and birth control.

He wants you to believe that it’s your body and you can do whatever you please with it.

He wants to put perverted thoughts into your mind that you are a homosexual or bi-sexual.

Don’t be deceived by his lies!!!

To repent means, to feel regret for a deed and a desire to change
one’s life as a result of sorrow for one’s sins.

Jesus and the disciples continually warned the people in love to repent.

When Peter and the disciples spoke on the day of Pentecost,
their message pricked the hearts of the people.

In sorrow, the people asked, what shall we do?

Peter said,
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For this promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off,
even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38-39

Brothers and sisters, we need to turn our eyes and ears from television,
books, movies, magazines, and garbage which would pollute our
mind and spirit.

Don’t give your body away like a filthy rag to be used
and abused by anyone.

Honor God with your body, so all people will know
that you are the sons and daughters of the Almighty.

Flee youthful lusts and keep yourself from all situations
which would cause you to fall.

God created man and woman to have sex as an act of love

and faithfulness toward one another and to recreate life.

Any other way, makes it unsafe and brings on the wrath of God.

It opens the door for Satan to mess up your life. Sex is safe…

when it is done the way God intended!…with the blessing of marriage

between a man and a woman.

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour

of the LORD. Proverbs 18:22

In Matthew 5 beginning in verse 27 Jesus was asked about the

sin of adultery. He said even the thought of committing the act was

the same as the very act.

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath

committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Save your virginity, beloved… for that special day.
The waiting will be well worth it.

Remember you are God’s beautiful creation and he loves you very much.

If you’ve fallen, Jesus does not condemn you, and neither do I.

Like the Apostle Paul, I am chief of sinners, saved by grace.

Jesus offers us the gift of forgiveness. He died for our sins and
offers all who will repent, a chance for a fresh start.

Repent precious one.
Go and sin no more.

If you have been abused or someone has stolen your
innocence, give your broken heart to Jesus, and He will
heal every scar and painful memory.

Run to His outstretched arms of mercy and grace.

He will give you beauty for ashes and restore to you
the years that have been stolen by Satan.

Will you accept His love?

Will you be His child?

Father of all mercies,
We ask you to forgive us for misusing our bodies and in the sin of fornication. We are created in
your image and you do not want us to hurt or harm our bodies with premarital sex or lustful
thoughts which would cause us to fall into sin.

We submit our bodies to you as a living sacrifice. Help us to think with the mind of Christ and lead
a godly and chaste life. May all our actions reflect those of your royal sons and daughters. Thank
you for sending Jesus to die for our sins. Turn our hearts from evil and flood us with your Holy Spirit.
Give us faithful and obedient hearts to serve you all the days of our life.

Help us to stay pure until you bring our perfect mates, so we may be joined in marriage and our unions will
be blessed. Forgive those who have fallen into sin with fornication or homosexuality. Give them the
courage and strength to repent and go and sin no more.

May the blood of Jesus cleanse each filthy stain from our hearts and make us whole.

Give beauty for ashes to all who have been raped or abused. Heal the painful scars and mend every broken
heart. We know that all things are possible for those who believe.

Father we ask for safety and protection for Chad, Scott, Gerald, Clint, Robert, Caesar,
Jeremy, Nati, Joel, Eric, Shawn, Sean, Christopher, Todd, Spc. Weaver, Julie, Jerry,
and all our soldiers. Encourage and provide for all their
needs. Help their families to stay strong and trust that
your angels are all around them. Chase the enemies
away and confuse the plots of the wicked. Give
wisdom to our leaders and President, so they can
rule and govern according to your will. Take
out of power all who will not submit to the authority
of your Son Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

Father an election was just held in Iraq. Let the outcome bring godly leadership to this nation,
healing, peace, prosperity, and your abundant blessings.

We thank you for the beautiful rains and snow to nourish our lands and for your safety and protection.
You have redeemed us from the hands of our enemies. You abundantly provide all our needs.
The eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are your Everlasting arms. We cast all
our cares to you, because you care for us.

In Jesus’ name we pray.
