We Are Only Here For A Little While

Dear friends, We are only here for a little while
then we pass on.
Some sooner than later,
but that’s God’s Will being done.

Let’s give our best while we travel
this side of Heaven’s Gate.
There’s really no hurry -
no one arrives in Glory Land late.

Yes, I agree that it surely does hurt
when a loved one takes their last breath.
But be thankful that they knew Jesus
and went to Him at physical death.

I don’t have all the answers!
I don’t even know the questions of many things.
I know I’m a born-again Christian and I enjoy
all the blessings the Lord brings.

Let’s smile when we can, laugh and be happy
for that is the Lord’s will.
He desires us to shine with His Love
His mission of salvation to fulfill.

Dear friends, May the Lord bless you and keep you
and may His smile shine upon your face.
We are here for a little while until
we go home to Heaven by God’s Grace.
