What’s all this trouble about?

Each day, the news brings more threats of war, terrorism, and violence.

It seems the media, politicians, and satan are trying to cripple us with a spirit of fear.

Jesus said, if we continue in his word, we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

God doesn’t want his children living under a cloud of fear.

He says…

My son, forget not my law, but let thine heart keep my commandments:

For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Proverbs 3:1-2

People in our world cry out for peace among nations… but most don’t want to submit to the

authority and commands of the LORD, to achieve this.

God warns…

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

Psalm 9:17

If we reject God and his son Jesus Christ, we can expect his loving hands

of correction and chastisement to come upon us.

The LORD visited prophets and disciples like Daniel and John, in order to leave us

written letters of instruction and understanding about troubling times…

Jesus said…

And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled:

for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall

rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines,

and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning

of sorrows. Matthew 24:6-8

The Prophet Daniel was given the gift of interpreting dreams and visions from God.

In Daniel 7 he shares his heart…

In the first year King Belshazzar of Babylon reigned…Daniel had a dream while
he was sleeping on his bed.

He saw great winds from heaven raging upon the sea…and 4 great beasts came up from the sea.

The first looked like a lion with eagle’s wings, the second a bear, the 3rd like a leopard,
and the 4th beast was dreadful and terrible with 10 horns.

There was a throne, where the Ancient of days sat, whose clothes were white as
snow and his hair was like pure wool. The throne was like a fiery flame with wheels
of burning fire.

Perhaps the Ancient of days, refers to God the Father sitting on his throne.

Thousands of angels stood before the throne…and it was the day of judgment.
The books of the God were opened and the beast was thrown into the lake of
burning flames.

The book of Life contain the names of his children who have accepted
Jesus as their Savior and the deeds we have done on the earth.

The other beasts had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were
prolonged for a season.

Daniel then saw one, like the Son of man come in the clouds of heaven,
near the Ancient of days.

He was given dominion, glory, and a kingdom that all people, nations, and languages
should serve him. The kingdom he established would not be destroyed.

Daniel was grieved in his spirit because of the dream. It was frightening
and he wondered what it meant.

He asked what the meaning of the vision and was told the interpretation.

The beasts and horns which he saw, represented kings which would
rise and fall before the judgment of the Lord and the end of the world.

Many would fight and war against each other…but in the end,
the saints of the most High, will prevail against the evil rulers.

The kingdom which Jesus will establish at the great judgment,
will be an everlasting kingdom, and all whose name’s are written
in the book of life will serve and obey him forever.

When Daniel woke up he was troubled by his dreams…but kept
the visions to himself.

The dreams he had, are much like the dreams that were given to
John in the book of Revelation by Jesus.

And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat
thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and
there was given unto him a great sword. Revelation 6:4

Satan and his evil forces have taken peace from the earth. Men, women, and children
are abusing and killing one another. Their eyes are blinded with the darkness.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. James 3:6

Jesus said…
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound,
the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:10-12

And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and
the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
Matthew 10:21

We have allowed satan and his evil forces into our homes, churches, and government… to
divide and destroy the family, sanctity of marriage, brotherly love, and unity among nations.

We legalized abortion… and murder innocent babies, because they are an inconvenience.

Like Adam and Eve, we spend our days playing the blame game…
criticizing and gossiping about one another…
instead of dropping to our knees in humility and repentance.

The Apostle John wrote…
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see.
And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances
in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of
wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny…
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death,
and Hell followed him. And power was given unto them over the forth part of the earth,
to kill with the sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Revelation 6:5-8

War, disaster, and wasteful spending have escalated debt in our world. Many have lost
their lives, homes, and jobs. Draught, disease, floods, earthquakes, man made disasters like the
recent oil spill in the U.S, famine, and massive debt plague many parts of the world.

Jesus said…

When ye therefore shall see the abominations of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand. Matthew 24:15

Many false prophets are rising up… trying to confuse us…
telling people to kill, protest, and seek revenge.

They claim to be from God, but are actually the anti-christ.

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-christ, that denieth the
Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22

Brothers and Sisters we need to spread God’s word like never before.
Jesus is the Prince of Peace and only He can deliver us.

We must watch and prepare… for one day He will come back to take us to heaven,
where there will be no more pain or sorrow.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be…And he shall send his angels
with a great sound of a trumpet and they shall gather together his elect from
the four winds from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:27, 31

In these days of confusion and despair, it is comforting to be able to
turn to God’s holy words of truth, to calm our fears.

Are you are troubled or confused about your future?

Beloved, lay your worries and fears at the foot of the cross.

All these things must happen for the scriptures to be fulfilled.

Many in our world today are worshipping false gods or no god at all.

The LORD has asked us to share our faith with others. We must love Jesus
and our neighbors enough to warn them, even it means suffering rejection,
persecution, or adversity.

Whoever rejects you is also rejecting Jesus. We are asked to pray for our enemies and
bless those who despitefully use and persecute us. If you don’t pray for them…who will?

Over 3 Billion people in the world have never heard about Jesus
and the message of salvation. We need your help to reach them.

Whoever’s name is not found in the Lamb’s book of life will be
cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not
his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his
brother also. 1 John 4:20-21

God has a plan for each one of you, and I pray you will stand in the
gap and stand up for Jesus.

He loved us so much he died for our sins on the cross at Calvary.
He was beated, mocked, spit upon, and crucified to bear the
punishment we deserved.

When adversity comes, we must encourage ourselves and one another.
Prayers in the name of Jesus, can heal the sick and lift us out of the
pit of panic and despair.

Precious one…Jesus loves you and so do I.

God left you his letter of love, so you wouldn’t be confused when fiery trials
come your way. They are to test and refine you.

The Bible says…

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness
through manifold temptations: That the trail of your faith, being much more precious
than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and
honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6-7

Friends…this season of suffering will one day be over. If we suffer with Jesus we will
one day reign with him.

He will give us a crown of life, and we can gratefully lay it down at his
feet in thanks and gratitude for our salvation.

Jesus is standing at the door of your heart knocking…

Will you surrender your life and be his child?

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast
some of you into prison, that ye may be tried, and ye shall have tribulation
ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 2:10

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the gift of this beautiful day and for sharing the words of truth
to light our path. You are our Shelter in the Storm, an Ever-present help
in times of trouble.

Forgive me, for I am a sinner. I need Jesus to save me from an
eternity in hell. Please Jesus come into my heart… be my LORD
and Savior. I believe your death on the cross paid my sin debt
in full. I believe you rose from the grave conquering sin, death,
and all the powers of the devil. If you are for us, no one can
stand against us. We are strong, the word of God is in us,
and we have overcome the evil one.

We have provoked you to anger and disobeyed your commands.
We have been selfish and not loved our neighbors as ourselves.
We have murdered your children with abortion and abuse.
Cleanse our hearts and open the eyes of the blind to see sin
from your eyes. Open our ears to be receptive to your will
and laws. Bind the powers of satan and evil. Take out of
power the wicked and raise us godly men and women of
honor and integrity to lead our nations. Confuse the plots
of the wicked and overturn all laws that are contrary to
your will.

We’ve foolishly wandered in the wilderness for too long. We humble
ourselves before you, asking for mercy and forgiveness.

We deserve nothing but your wrath and punishment, but we ask you to cover our sins
with the blood of Jesus. Heal our lands and deliver us from the hands of our enemies,
for your name’s sake. As a father pities his children, you pity those who fear you.
Chase away the clouds of fear, doubt, and depression. Ignite a flame of hope and
courage in our hearts. Calm the storms of strife, prejudice, abuse, and bitterness.
Give us help from trouble, for vain is the help of man. Through You, we shall do
valiantly, for it is You who will tread down our enemies. We can do all things
through Christ who strengthens us.

LORD, we ask for wisdom and direction in the ministry and web sites. Show
us a fresh vision and abundantly provide all we need to accomplish your will.
Keep us from evil, temptation, greed, and commercialism. Freely we have
received, help us to freely give.

Help, O LORD my God: Save us according to your mercy: That all may know that
Your hand has done it. Let our adversaries be clothed with shame and turn their
hearts to repentance. We will lay down in peace and sleep, for you only, make
us to dwell in safety. This is the day you have made, we will rejoice and be
glad in it.

Hide your word in our hearts so we will not sin against you. Open our eyes
to see wondrous things out of your law.

Fly this message to every nation, tribe, and tongue, and bring each one who
reads or hears your words to faith in Jesus our blessed Saviour.

In His name we offer this prayer…

Amen

The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Ye are blessed of

the LORD which made heaven and earth. Psalm 115:14-15
