Real
Teens, Real stories, Real Lives.
Author: T. Suzanne Eller
Reviewer: Elaine Giles |
The book ‘Real Teens, Real stories, Real Lives’ is
one long testimony of the power and love of God. Every story
shows a life which many teens can relate to, problems with
parents, alcohol and drugs, child abuse. You name it, there
is a testimony about it.
We get to see how ones life can get so bad, they think there
is no return to a ‘normal’ life, they have given
up hope. We get a clear picture of what is happening in their
life and why they are the way they are. In all the stories
the teens find God and their lives are rapidly changed. Even
if their situation remains the same, their attitude and way
of thinking change. They find that God is interested in them
and their lives.
As I read these stories, I was in awe of God; none of the
teens take the glory for themselves but give it completely
to God and have all changed forever. They have been brought
from darkness to light.
I would recommend the book to anyone who wanted to know God.
It will show those who don’t know him that he is real
and wants to change lives that someone loves them no matter
what they are going through. For those who already know God,
be encouraged that God is still working in the lives of people
today. We have all been through things which we wish we hadn’t
and God can change the pain and suffering of those situations
and use them for his glory just like the teens in this book.
